This place has a great variety of food to choose from on the menu. The steak and blue cheese fettuccine and delicious and I don't even like blue cheese.

This is a fun and enjoyable venue with good service and nice ambience. I recently went with a group of women and we grabbed a long table in the bar area. Although it was nice, it was loud and difficult to hear or be heard. Also, I wished the happy hour menu had more apps that were fish or vegetarian that is also not fried in something. If you do not have food sensitivity then this will not be an issue for you but best to keep in mind for your group. I prefer going as a couple or a foursome and ordering off the regular menu for better food options.

My husband and I celebrated my bday at The Tavern. Our bartender Nick went above and beyond for us, he made the best drinks and was very fun to talk to. We will be back to visit Nick again. 10/10

Great service and great price for the quality of food! I love when restaurants offer a discounted salad when ordering an entree. A great variety of salads to choose from and they were a great portion for $4!! Hubs and I both got the bolognese, the sauce was great but the noodles were a bit overcooked. The desserts were HUGE and we were warned that we may want to share but we never listen...... I enjoyed the chocolate cake for days. We will definitely be back!

AMAZING pancakes best ones i've had yet the blueberry sauce was absolutely delicious. im a sucker for biscuits and gravy and that sausage gravy was so flavorful! not the biggest fan of the tavern hash i expected the eggs to be a bit more runny so it was just lacking in the sauce area. service was good no complaints just wasn't anything memorable about it. very pretty inside love the set up around the bar!

We had a group of 8 here for brunch on a Saturday morning. We had reservations and were seated promptly! I tried the breakfast nachos which were delicious. These had eggs, pico, and cheese sauce on top of a few small crispy tortillas. It was like having a couple miniature tacos! The black beans on the side were super flavorful. I think our entire table ordered off of the brunch menu and we all really enjoyed our food. Our waitress was great and kept our drinks topped off! Great dining experience.

Amazing happy hour deals! You have to come early or be ready to wait a bit for seating on a week day during happy hour but it's worth it. The atmosphere is always clean and the servers are always kind and attentive. Every dish on the dinner menu I would recommend. Overall great spot.

We love tavern! We have been to both locations in prairie village and mission farms, but we definitely frequent the mission farms ones the most. Food is always delicious, and they are always changing up their menu rotation so there is always something new to try! It's a nice dim light setting in the restaurant, so it's easy on the eyes and not too bright. The service is typically great, there have only ever been a couple of times where the server or the staff bringing out the food weren't the best. Highly recommend their specialty cocktails and their calamari appetizer is one of our go to!

We enjoyed a pleasant dinner with friends. The cocktails were excellent. I had their take on a rye old fashioned. Dinner was great. The ladies enjoyed the salmon. I just wanted a burger and fries. The fries were excellent as other reviews said

It's really nice inside, mellow vibe with muted colors. Have a nice fireplace, but it wasn't going on a warm spring night Was seated right away, and greeted by the waitress quickly. Ordered a Federale, which is made with mezcal and it was very good. Had the tomatoe bisque, the tavern salad and the pork chop Tomato bisque was good, very thick Salad was good, large and came late Pork chop was amazing, mushroom sauce over it was so full of flavor, I dipped each piece of chop in it and ate it up. Service was good, she was very attentive and kept my water full. Only issue was food came out before salad, I had to ask what happened to it, and then they brought it. I really didn't want it at that point, should have said to forget it Very good meal all told
